How to Apply

Initial Inquiry

Before submitting a full proposal, organizations should send a brief overview of the organization, explanation of the project, and the amount of the request to CFA President, Mary Kate Wilson.

Full Application

Following a review of the initial inquiry, a grant application will be sent to the invited organization via e-mail for completion.

Applications submitted without invitation will not be considered.

Deadlines

The deadlines for returning the completed grant application are:

  • February 1
  • May 1
  • August 1
  • November 1

Organizations are strongly advised to inquire about applying well ahead of our application deadlines; inquiries and requests may be deferred to a later grant cycle.

Funding decisions are made by the Board of Trustees approximately eight weeks following the grant application deadline.
